Using our backdrop of mountain views and lush green fairways at Alta Sierra Country Club, you can hold the picture-perfect wedding that you've always dreamed about.

We are located in California's Gold Rush Country, just a short drive from Grass Valley or Auburn and less than an hour from Sacramento. Our reputation has brought families from Chicago and Southern California to hold their special day with us.

For starters, you can walk down the aisle here outdoors with the golf course serving as the setting for the saying of your vows. This club makes for a beautiful setting in all seasons of the year including spring when flowering trees are in bloom and autumn when the course seems to blaze with gold and red.

After saying your vows, while the bridal party is having its photos taken, serve your guests an array of delectable small portions and appetizers along with cool drinks on our patios or decks.

Then follow up your scenic ceremony with a dinner in our spacious main dining room where floor to vaulted ceiling windows offer your guests great views of our course. Our reception settings with beautiful fixtures in decorative linens will create an almost fairytale-like setting.

What about the food? You'll want to consider one of our grand buffets with such dishes as slow roasted prime rib, sesame ginger glazed salmon, chicken cordon bleu or carved top round of beef. Vegetarian entrees are an option and we offer themed buffets and barbecues with Hawaiian or Mexican dishes. Salmon, prime rib and New York steak are popular for our seated dinners. Personalized menus based on your favorites may also be arranged.  And we can provide a full bar with stations if you wish.  Your chef is award-winning and popular throughout the Gold Country, and our staff is committed to preparing a meal that everyone will enjoy.
